We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager (Accounting & Finance) to join our client\’s team. Our client, an organisation in the energy sector, is driving towards its legally binding carbon reduction targets and shaping the future of GB energy. As part of their Energy Insights & Analysis (EIA) team, you will play a pivotal role in determining GB\’s energy needs and developing strategies to meet them on a whole energy, whole system basis.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing EIA-related activities, including the delivery programme for the Future Energy Scenarios (FES) . You will collaborate closely with workstream leads to ensure thorough scoping and planning, closely monitor delivery progress, and effectively mitigate risks and issues. This role will require strong project management skills and experience, particularly in externally facing high-profile projects. Previous experience in the energy industry or providing project management support to engineering projects is desirable.
Working as a Project Manager in our client\’s organisation will give you the opportunity to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including teams in Strategy and Policy, Strategic Energy Planning, government, and regulatory organisations.
