We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our clients team! You will be supporting the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects by developing and managing detailed project schedules, tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with client requirements and site conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Scheduling & Planning: Create project-specific Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), defining tasks, timelines, and key milestones. Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and timelines. Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules for MEP projects using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate project documentation in line with company procedures, client requirements, and industry regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and report project risks, delays, and potential issues. Suggest and implement mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Prepare and present performance reports for stakeholders, including Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Contractors to ensure project schedules align with client specifications and site conditions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of MEP project lifecycle and planning principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in risk assessment and performance reporting (including EVA).
