As a Senior Databricks Technical Engineer, you'll design and build scalable data platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop analytics solutions that drive better decision-making and operational performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and SQL.

Transform and curate data from multiple sources into high-quality datasets.

Develop dashboards and visualisations that deliver actionable insights.

Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.

Ensure data quality, governance and security standards are met.

Collaborate with technical teams to optimise platform performance, scalability and cost efficiency.

Contribute to best practices, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks.

Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.

Knowledge of data lakehouse architectures and modern analytics platforms.

Experience designing data models and supporting reporting tools such as Power BI.

Understanding of data governance, security and data quality principles.

Strong stakeholder management, communication and Agile delivery experience.

Please note: Candidates must be eligible for UK SC Clearance, including having resided continuously in the UK for the last five years
