Adecco are recruiting on behalf of the Local Authority for a Senior Business Support Officer to join the LIFE/Hospital Discharge service within Health, Wellbeing and Adults.

Contract Details:

  • Type: Temporary - 3 months
  • Pay: £18.92 per hour PAYE or £25.03 per hour UMBRELLA
  • Location: Bernard Weatherill House
  • Working Arrangements: Hybrid - 2 days per week from home
  • Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • DBS: Enhanced DBS required

Role Overview:

This role is paramount to maintaining service delivery and supporting hospital discharge within Adult Services. The Senior Business Support Officer will provide high-quality business support to the LIFE service, supporting data capture and management, LIFE referrals and Patienteer, as well as providing operational support around changes to the D2A process. The role will help improve data quality and ensure efficient processes to enable robust, integrated and person-centred services across the whole system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update the LIFE service mailbox, ensuring urgent emails are actioned daily.
  • Update the LIFE Tracker with information received into the LIFE mailbox in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure managers and senior staff are alerted to urgent issues.
