Job Opportunity: Senior Business Administrator – East Sussex County Council (via Adecco) Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Administrator to join East Sussex County Council on a temporary basis. Location: County Hall, St Mary\’s House, Lewes or Cavendish House, Hastings Hybrid working available after training. Contract: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday Temporary contract £13.47 per hour (PAYE) or £17.27 per hour (Umbrella)Job Role: You will be responsible for managing the Off Rolling process for Schools, which includes: Using a casework management system Handling communications via Microsoft Outlook Making calls to schools General administrative support Minute taking Provide local financial and business administration support Undertake and continuously improve administrative duties including responding to email enquiries, providing telephone cover and message service, checking and distributing post, setting and maintaining office processes, arranging meetings and maintaining diaries Provide support to individual managers as required, including diary management and travel planningSkills Required: Confidence using various IT programs, especially casework management systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Ability to effectively prioritise a diverse workload to meet deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively to a range of people, including the ability to converse at ease with customer and provide advice in accurate spoken English Understanding of confidentiality.
