Section Leader - Licensing

Location: City of Wolverhampton Role type: Temporary City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for an experienced and motivated Section Leader - Licensing to join their Resident Services team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a licensing professional or regulatory services leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality public services, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement.

You ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Council s licensing functions are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in line with current legislation and best practice.

Working closely with the Service Manager and key stakeholders across the Council, you ll lead a dedicated team, manage day-to-day operations, and help shape the future direction of licensing services across the city.

About the Role As Section Leader, you will take operational responsibility for a key area of the Council s licensing function, ensuring services are delivered to the highest standard.
