About the Role
We are hiring on behalf of a respected manufacturer with a strong presence in the local area. As a Warehouse Kitting Operative, you will play a vital role in preparing production kits by picking and assembling materials, ensuring everything is ready for the next stage of manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
- Review upcoming production batches to identify stock needs
- Pick bags, fill lines, and consumables according to batch specifications
- Assemble complete kits ready for production
- Manage stock levels and replenish inventory
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts (small part of the role)
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet deadlines
- Support waste reduction and efficient resource use
- Follow all health and safety procedures
What We Are Looking For
- GCSE Grade 3 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production setting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills; ERP system experience is desirable
- Good communication and a positive, can-do attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and bending throughout the day
