Position: School Caretaker

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay: 13.75 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits

Location: Havering

If you enjoy maintenance work, have a range of DIY skills and would be interested in work in a school environment, this could be the role you\\\’ve been looking for!

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day support, generally maintaining school facilities and opening/closing of the site.
  • Oversee routine repairs and manage facilities; be the go-to person for all things related to the school\\\’s infrastructure.
  • Work full time hours, often a split-shift (early morning and afternoon), or occasionally a full shift. There may also be additional hours needed for functions or lettings.

Qualifications and requirements

  • You must already hold the right to work in the UK.
  • An Enhanced DBS is essential for the role. A registered Enhanced DBS check is advantageous, or you must be happy to have one processed at a cost.
  • Experience in maintenance work or a range of DIY skills is desirable.
