Role Overview
As a Business Planning & Operations Lead within the Reality Labs product space, you will bridge technical and commercial functions to help bring Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and advanced wearable technologies to consumers worldwide. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams across multiple regions, driving strategic direction aligned with company-wide product roadmaps while enabling flexible, sales-focused capabilities that meet evolving business needs. Your goal is to ensure the organisation is well-positioned for scale, operational efficiency, and market responsiveness.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, detail‑oriented, and adept at solving complex problems. You will be comfortable building simple, scalable solutions, managing high-impact projects, and communicating analytical insights clearly. A key expectation is strong capability in utilising AI tools and agents to accelerate strategy, planning, and execution. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about AR, AI, wearables, and immersive technologies, while fostering strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Drive streamlined and efficient business processes (e.g., reporting, prioritisation, planning) to support operational rhythm and product launch activities.
- Lead global initiatives while collaborating closely with regional teams; identify opportunities to scale regional innovations globally.
- Improve operational excellence through initiatives that increase efficiency, remove barriers, and enhance business processes and workflows—leveraging AI and automation where beneficial.
- Support sales teams with medium- and long-term planning through deep analytics of business potential, trends, and performance insights.
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior leaders across functions.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and coordinate resources to solve complex, interdisciplinary business problems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Management Strategy Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Sales Planning & Operations, or related fields.
- Experience within consumer sales channels (Retail, Telco), driving projects from strategy to execution.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Proven experience working cross-functionally with leadership to develop and execute business plans.
- Knowledge of organisational dynamics, change management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Project management experience overseeing multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, data visualisation tools, analytical platforms, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
- BA/BS in an analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business).
- Experience developing or overseeing advanced quantitative analysis and turning insights into actionable outcomes.
- Strong commercial and business acumen with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in an analytical field.
- Experience with consumer retail, telecommunications, optical categories, or direct-to-consumer environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience working with or supporting diverse and global teams.
