About the Role: As the newly appointed Regional Energy Strategic Planner, you will be tasked with developing innovative Regional Energy Strategic Plans (RESPs) for 11 unique regions across Great Britain. This role is pivotal in ensuring that we consider the diverse needs of each region while contributing to the overarching Great British energy plan.
With the RESP program nearing the conclusion of its Detailed Design phase, we are seeking a talented Implementation Lead to join our dynamic Central Programme team. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating and delivering implementation plans while ensuring a people-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:- People-Centric Transformation: Champion the human aspect of change, ensuring effective communication and support throughout the transition.
- Operating Model Development: Collaborate on refining the Operating Model to align with business objectives and governance structures.
- Organisational Implementation: Assist in creating and adjusting organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities for seamless capability builds.
- Workshop Facilitation: Lead engaging workshops to capture stakeholder insights and co-create innovative solutions.
- Workstream Planning: Partner with project managers to develop detailed workstream plans, tracking milestones and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across teams to foster collaboration, innovation, and insight sharing.
- Change Documentation: Create essential artifacts, including process maps, training plans, and change plans.
- Implementation & Readiness: Utilize various methodologies to support pilots and readiness as we transition into Implementation.
- Support Transformation Initiatives: Lead subsets of workstream deliverables, ensuring alignment with change management strategies.
- Pilot & Trials: Identify and manage pilots to validate designs before wider implementation.
- Training Delivery: Develop and execute training plans to build capability for successful delivery.
- Strong People Focus: Proven ability to support individuals through change with empathy, active listening, and effective communication.
- Organizational Implementation Expertise: Experience in leading organizational initiatives and understanding business needs.
- Workshop Facilitation: Skilled in designing and conducting workshops that align stakeholders and capture requirements.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate broader business strategies into operational models.
- Collaboration & Engagement: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and senior leaders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to analyse complex data and identify opportunities for improvement.
