What You'll Do
- Shape ER Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop an overarching employee relations strategy that aligns with business objectives and promotes a positive employee experience.
- Manage Employee Relations: Oversee all employee relations activities, ensuring compliance and effective management of workplace issues.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Support the review and implementation of people policies that reflect best practices and comply with employment laws.
- Conflict Resolution: Address employee grievances by conducting thorough investigations and facilitating effective dispute resolutions.
- Lead & Mentor: Guide the ER team in day‐to‐day case management activities, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Due Diligence: Maintain accurate documentation of all ER cases, providing insightful trends to senior leadership.
- Coaching & Guidance: Coach managers on performance management and disciplinary procedures to enhance workplace relations.
- Training: Facilitate training sessions for managers and employees on conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Monitor Trends: Stay updated on HR trends and regulations to ensure our practices remain compliant.
- Build Reputation: Establish and maintain trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A degree or relevant experience in Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field (CIPD qualification or equivalent required).
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases.
- Experience in developing ER strategies in fast‐paced environments.
- Solid understanding of UK employment laws and regulations.
