Retail Transformation Project Manager – London Job Advertisement: IT Project Manager – Retail Job Title: IT Project Manager Salary: Paying up to £70,000 per annum Location: London We are working with a leading client in the retail and wholesale sector seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to drive the delivery of key technology initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in IT project management and experience in the retail or wholesale environment. About the Role As an IT Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, you will manage projects ranging from IT infrastructure refreshes to the roll-out of retail technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Plan, budget, schedule, and oversee all project activities. Maintain detailed project, quality, and risk plans. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior managers. Manage third-party vendors and their deliverables. Deliver IT packages for retail environments, including WAN circuits, wireless solutions, tills, and more. Implement IT solutions for retail estate transformations, such as new store openings. Continuously evaluate and improve IT solutions across the retail estate. Provide detailed weekly and monthly progress reports.The Ideal Candidate We’re looking for an organised and results-driven professional with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects in retail or wholesale environments. You will have: Strong project management experience, including end-to-end delivery of business change and transformation projects. Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Solid understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies. Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and large multi-disciplinary teams. Retail technology experience, including omnichannel retail strategies and E-commerce platforms.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
