Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, they offer a diverse range of financial services, including commercial banking, leasing, securities, credit card, consumer finance and other services.They are looking for a Regulatory Change Business Analyst to join the Finance Change Team on an initial contract to the end of March 2027 with the potential to extend. You will be working Monday to Friday, standard office hours with the occasional out of hours requirement in line with business needs, being office based 3 days a week, 2 days working from home.Purpose of JobThe purpose of this role is to manage the implementation of changes, that support the delivery of B3.1, ensuring that all project deliverables have the appropriate governance, transparency and oversight in place.The role has coverage across all Regulatory Change activities, using strong knowledge and experience of UK Prudential Regulations and the EU Regulatory environment to deliver success.A key part of the role is the successful coordination of stakeholders, provide reports to management, manage risks & issues and document requirements / testing that comply with the designated change framework.Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesLead one of the B3.1 workstreams to implement the required regulatory changes. This includes implementing new reporting requirement, as well as managing the correction of defects in the existing architecture and the implementation of system upgrades.Resolve operational reporting issues by delivering constant process improvements, mainly by automating the production of returns and removing manual adjustments.Communicate project progress with relevant stakeholders through regular update meetings;Manage the processes for the design, development, support, testing and maintenance of business requirements to deliver projects;Understand and document business requirements to create development specifications, and undertake UAT and implementation testing for various new developments;Other Ad hoc project tasks as requiredKnowledge, Skills, Experience & QualificationsWorking knowledge of reporting query software, spreadsheets and data miningUnderstanding of one of the major aspects of regulatory rules and reporting Market Risk, Credit Risk, CCR, large exposuresProduct Knowledge gained through working in the banking sectorExperience in producing business requirements in liaison with Regulatory reporting teamsAbility to be able to interrogate and analyse data on Oracle based platform and / or MsAccess (SQL)Preparation and analysis of regulatory.Experience in providing regulatory analysis to Front and middle office.Oracle SQL, MS Office SuiteVery IT literate (very good level of Excel skills and ability to use SQL)Ability to handle pressure of extensive urgent project with tight deadlinesAbility to multi task and to make progress on several items at the same timeCandidates must show evidence of the above in their CV to be considered.Please be advised if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you.
