Are you looking to build a career in electronics and precision engineering? This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader, working on an innovative new product range. You'll be part of a growing team, with full training provided and excellent opportunities to develop your technical skills.
What you'll be doing:
- Assembling and building precision electronic/mechanical products
- Inspecting components to ensure quality standards are met
- Kitting parts and supporting production processes
- Calibrating finished products (training provided)
- Recording production and calibration data
- Packing products ready for customer delivery
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- Engineering qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or similar) or hands-on practical experience
- A strong interest in hands-on, practical work
- Demonstrable ability or hobby experience in building intricate models or detailed assemblies (e.g. model kits, 3D printing, robotics, DIY projects)
- Excellent attention to detail and patience when working with small components
- Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Desirable:
- Any exposure to electronics, assembly, or workshop environments
- Understanding of technical drawings (training can be provided)
- Familiarity with tools or precision equipment
