In this role, you'll report to the Team Leader and ensure candidates meet strict eligibility and compliance standards before progressing into careers within the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force. This role requires a strong understanding of client pre-employment criteria to complete eligibility checks. You will identify risks and support a compliant, high-quality start to the candidate journey in a high-volume recruitment environment. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility position where accuracy, risk awareness, and strong judgement are essential.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting compliance checks (Right to Work, residency, educational qualifications, criminal records)
  • Reviewing candidate documentation against MOD standards
  • Managing and resolving flagged (\"Amber\") cases
  • Updating records accurately within the ATS
  • Processing waiver requests where appropriate
  • Working to SLAs in a high-volume environment

  • Identifying and managing compliance risks
  • Maintaining high levels of accuracy and data integrity
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement across processes, You must have the right to work in the UK.

All offers are subject to background checks and compliance screening. Contracted hours will be 37.5 a week but requires flexibility to undertake occasional weekend work. This is a flexible team so you may be required to support the Assessment team during peak periods.

Key skills and experience

  • Strong communicator who can work collaboratively and raise issues effectively
  • Experience in compliance, vetting, screening, or eligibility checking
  • Background in recruitment operations or high-volume admin roles
  • Experience handling sensitive/confidential data
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Background in or connection with or to the Armed Forces (advantageous)
