Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of warehouse staff, including pickers, packers, and goods-in personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
2. Streamline Operations: Develop and implement efficient processes that guarantee accuracy in stock management and order despatch.
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure all quality issues are addressed promptly, adhering to ISO and audit standards to maintain zero non-conformances.
4. Cost Management: Control costs against budget while recovering labour based on activity levels.
5. KPI Management: Maintain and report on key performance indicators weekly, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
6. Safety First: Uphold workplace health and safety standards, ensuring a secure environment for all employees and stock.
7. Cross-Site Coordination: Collaborate with other sites to ensure seamless operations and holiday cover as needed.

What You Bring:

1. Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing warehouse operations effectively.
2. Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of warehouse legal requirements and excellent IT skills, including proficiency in warehouse management systems and MS Office.
3. Data-Driven Mindset: Confident in analysing data and developing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
4. Passion for Improvement: A relentless drive to seek and implement operational efficiencies that achieve defined KPIs.
5. Planning Expertise: Strong organisational skills to manage the flow of stock and adapt to fluctuating sales volumes.
6. Team Builder: Experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff to create a high-performing warehouse team.
