My client a leader in their respected global market is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Quant Python Engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis.
This role would suit an engineer that has a inquisitive mind and is curious and eager to learn and adopt to new challenges and problems.
This role will sit in my clients tech teams but support a number of business unit globally.
They are looking to appoint a talented, highly motivated Senior Quantitative Engineer with a proven delivery record ideally in the financial domain delivering solutions on the AWS platform.
The successful candidate will join a high performing team of engineers delivering world class solutions as aligned with strategic directives.
Your key responsibilities will include working closely with their analytic services team, product management, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality modelling solutions.
You will design and develop analytic and modelling solutions, automated tests, documentation, and related processes to meet and exceed the requirements of partners.
Lead the technical design efforts for analytic solutions.
Engage in architecture discussions at a portfolio and capital level and align solution architecture with wider enterprise architecture visions.
Successful candidates will have excellent Python experience (this will be commercial demonstrable experience) Experience debugging numerical computations and explaining results.
Experience using AI tools to increase productivity and streamline software development processes.
Experience in delivering high performing solutions using python, AWS and other modern technologies.
Experience leading innovation activities and proof of concept exercises.
My client is open to candidates that have less commercial experience and a great aptitude for Python and a Mathematical mind set for modelling and pricing.
But then my client is equally open to a more senior candidate that can bring the breath of experience to the team.
