Are you passionate about maintaining quality standards in the aviation industry? Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to support and enhance the effectiveness of their Quality System within a dynamic component maintenance environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact while working in a role that promotes safety and compliance with regulatory authorities.

Job Purpose

As a Quality Engineer, you will report directly to the Quality and SMS Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with EASA Part 145 and CAA regulations, all while supporting the company\’s approved maintenance activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled internal and external audits and inspections to uphold quality standards.
  • Maintain the independence of the Quality Department to ensure compliance with Part 145.A.65(c).
  • Manage the company\’s MOR and IOR reporting schemes as required by Part 145.A.60.
  • Stay up-to-date with EASA Part 145 and SMS Risk‑based management practices.
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day administration and control of the quality department and audit programme.
  • Administer Company Manuals and the Company authorisation system, ensuring staff meet Part 145.A.35 requirements.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on quality, technical, and maintenance issues using MEDA as needed.
  • Manage and address Non‑Conformances effectively.
  • Engage in negotiations with manufacturers and vendors on quality matters related to the maintenance of customer aircraft.

Qualifications & Prerequisites

  • Proven experience in an airline, maintenance, or quality safety environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to conduct audits efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations.
  • Familiarity with Q0Pulse Quality Management Software is a plus.
