We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join a growing specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of high-value programmes, working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a Project Manager who enjoys being hands-on, thrives on accountability, and is confident working independently while managing complex customer and stakeholder relationships.
The Role
As the lead Project Manager on assigned programmes, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, manufacturing, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects achieve their objectives while maintaining strong commercial and operational control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and delivery plans.
- Monitor project performance against budgets, milestones, and timelines.
- Manage customer relationships and stakeholder expectations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For

- Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Desirable Project Management qualification such as APMP or PRINCE2.
- Technical or engineering background.
- Experience working within complex programme or product delivery environments.
- Knowledge of quality management or risk management processes.
