Our client, one of the largest steel recycling companies in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Operator to join their team in Cardiff.
With the capacity to produce 1.2 million tonnes of low emission circular steel annually, our client is committed to sustainability and UK sourced scrap metal.

As a Operator /Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process.
You will be responsible for using battery powered tools to cut bar and ensuring the machine runs smoothly.
Additionally, you will assist skilled operators in tasks such as sampling rebar and removing coils from the running line. Safety is a top priority, so you will need to follow all safety instructions and work in a proactive and safe manner.
Hours & Pay:
This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Thursday.
You will be working 10-hour days from 4 : 30am to 2:30pm, allowing for a long weekend to enjoy your free time.
The pay rate for this role is £11.97 per hour.
In addition to joining a leading company, our client\’s office is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from a train station. This means you can easily commute to work without the need for driving.
