Adecco we are looking for Production Operatives for part time or weekend shifts to start immediately and to join our FMCG client based on the Slough Trading Estate.

Shift Pattern / Rota

We operate 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week Sunday to Saturday on a rolling rota.

  • 2 Days (Apply online only) (7am - 7pm)
  • 2 Nights (Apply online only) (7pm - 7am)
  • 4 days off

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for a set of machines, pieces of equipment and / or processes within your working area.
  • Carrying out the routine operational tasks required to achieve area targets e.g. starting-up, shutting-down, monitoring, cleaning, and carrying out basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks and inspections, and the use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.
  • Required to work within clearly defined processes and procedures and product specifications and standards, while ensuring full compliance with Quality, Health and Safety at Work and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
  • Happy working in a busy production environment and work well alone, as well as part of a team up to 15 associates.
  • Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handover.
  • Repair minor mechanical breakdowns using trained knowledge and experience.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment spending time on your feet throughout your shift.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Fluent English verbal and written skills.
  • Experience in a similar role in the FMCG / Factory Operations industry is desirable.
  • Experienced Power Pallet Truck and / or Machine operator is desirable.
  • Full training is provided.
