The Role

As a Float Operator, you will support multiple areas of production, helping maintain efficiency and high-quality output. Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out bonding, cutting and grinding processes
  • Operating test beds and heating lamps
  • Supporting different production areas as required
  • Assisting with machine operation and basic set-up
  • Following standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Performing quality checks on materials and finished products
  • Recording production data accurately
  • Identifying and reporting faults or inconsistencies
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
  • Working to targets within a fast-paced environment
