Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operative Location: Ash, Canterbury (must drive due to client's location) Contract: Temporary contract for 3-6 months Salary: £12.25 per hour Hours: 39 per week (Monday – Thursday 08:00-17:00; Friday 08:00-13:00) Benefits: weekly pay, up to 28 days annual leave, access to free eyecare voucher, temp of the month awards, dedicated consultant to support your job search, first opportunity to see permanent positions, perks a work, discounts schemes and access to well-being platforms. Duties: Mixing chemical compounds in preparation for production. Once the chemical is mixed and made into powder, put the powder into tubes, seal and pack. Complete product quality testing. Ensuring chemicals are stored safely and in compliance with HSE standards. Complete all work in a safe manner, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and standards. Ensure build and quality standards are maintained. Maintain appropriate production and safety records. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment. Use a variety of hand and power tools, as required, such as a ride on mower and trimmers to cut hedges.Experience and skills required for this position: Previous experience in either production, assembly, warehouse or manufacturing would be desirable but full training will be provided. Must be comfortable lifting up to 25kg. Must be comfortable working out percentages. DBS check will be carried out.Other information: Non-smoking site.
