- Location: Dundee
- Contract: 6‑Month Fixed Term
- Hours: 9am - 5pm (36 hours per week)
- Working pattern: Full time, 5 days per week (including permanent weekend working)
- Salary: ÂŁ33,000 per annum

About the role
We're looking for a Product Incident Advisor to join the Product Regulatory Compliance team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a vital role supporting how the business responds to product incidents, withdrawals and recalls, helping to protect customer safety and maintain brand trust. Working closely with the Product Incident Manager, you'll coordinate incident responses, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and work collaboratively with teams across the organisation and external partners.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting product incident and crisis management meetings
- Accurately recording, tracking and following up actions from product incidents
- Maintaining clear and up‑to‑date incident records and documentation
- Issuing and managing Emergency Product Withdrawals (EPWs) and Product Recalls within agreed timescales
- Providing out‑of‑hours weekend EPW and Recall support on a rota basis
- Monitoring EPW and Recall compliance and escalating issues where required
- Supporting product incident reviews and ensuring actions are completed
- Monitoring serious customer complaints to support early intervention
- Liaising with Stores, Depots, Customer Engagement Centre, Business Support, Legal teams and external authorities
- Sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement of incident management processes
About you
You'll be organised, detail‑focused and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and timely outcomes are essential. You'll ideally have:
- A background in incident management, compliance, quality, regulatory or project‑based roles
- An understanding of the UK food and/or non‑food safety regulatory environment
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work to tight deadlines while remaining calm under pressure
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
