Are you an organised, proactive and detail‑focused administrator who loves being at the heart of operations? Do you enjoy supporting multiple teams, building strong supplier relationships, and keeping everything running smoothly? If that sounds like you, then this could be your perfect next move! We are looking for a motivated Sales & Purchasing Administrator to support end‑to‑end order processing and purchasing activity. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and materials are delivered on time, every time. This is a varied, hands‑on role with plenty of responsibility - ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in getting things right.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process, validate and maintain customer orders/schedules using Sage 50
- Track orders through production and ensure on‑time delivery
- Raise, monitor and manage purchase orders
- Work with suppliers to obtain quotations, confirm lead times and resolve queries
- Proactively expedite materials for production and new projects
- Run purchasing reports and follow up with appropriate actions
- Investigate delivery or invoice discrepancies
- Support with administrative tasks including stock take and general office duties
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 processes
What We’re Looking For
- Strong, proven experience with Sage 50 (essential)
- Background in sales and purchasing administration
- Experience working with suppliers and procuring materials or services
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach and the ability to follow tasks through to completion
- A positive team player who learns quickly and stays well‑organised
