Our client is looking for a dynamic People Policy & Strategy Consultant to join their People and Change Directorate in the vibrant City of Wolverhampton. Reporting to: Policy & Strategy Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Lead the benchmarking and modernisation of HR policies and management tools.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Establish and manage working groups to ensure an inclusive policy development process.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions for various stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilise HR systems to provide insightful data that supports proactive people management.
  • Change Management: Support the implementation of the People Policy forward plan, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience in HR policy development and people management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR systems management.
