Profile

Our client, a leading banking institution, is seeking a skilled Payment Processor to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. As a Payment Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient processing of customer payments while delivering exceptional service that surpasses customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer payments in accordance with prescribed procedures and rules established by our client.
  • Prioritise and organise allocated work on a daily basis in coordination with your team.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of procedures and adhere to defined parameters to consistently produce high-quality output.
  • Proactively resolve customer queries, escalating to team leaders, managers, or other relevant groups as required. Maintain accurate logs of interactions, when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and clients within the the bank, fostering effective communication and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Demonstrate confidence in processing customer payment transactions and instructions, ensuring utmost accuracy in all tasks.
  • Work effectively as a member of a team, while also being flexible and committed to undertaking various tasks at a similar level.
  • Display excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, enabling effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and customers.
  • Adapt to changes in business needs and embrace new ideas and processes positively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them effectively.
