Working 20 hours per week:

Monday to Friday - 7am to 9am and 2pm to 4pm (term time only)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive passenger vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to road traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Assist service users with boarding and alighting, ensuring comfort and safety, especially for those with mobility impairments.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness and report any defects to supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and out, using depot facilities.
  • Exhibit empathy and respect for all passengers, particularly vulnerable individuals.
  • Complete journey run lists and ensure all passengers have vacated the vehicle at the end of each trip.

What We're Looking For:

  • A valid Class D Licence and a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) that is renewable every five years.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and welfare issues affecting service users.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong focus on customer care.
  • Ability to operate specialist equipment, such as tail-lifts for wheelchair access.
