What You’ll Do: As a Parts Order Processor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Spares and Service Department. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry: Process customer spares orders from initial order to final dispatch note. Manage purchase orders, stores requisitions, and engineer's car stocks.
  • Sourcing: Locate spares and components from other branches or external suppliers. Negotiate prices when necessary to ensure competitive rates.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to assess part turnover and identify reordering needs. Replenish stock and maintain accurate records in the computer system.
  • Communication: Handle general telephone inquiries and liaise with couriers and transport companies. Prepare and send quotation faxes or emails.
  • Financial Duties: Raise invoices and credit notes, ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Maintain organised filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
