Job Title: Medical Secretary\\n\\nLocation: Farringdon\\n\\nRemuneration: £13 – £14 per hour\\n\\nContract Details: Temporary, 8 weeks\\n\\nWorking Pattern:\\n\\nPart-Time: 10 hours a week, split over Monday (5 hours) and Tuesday (5 hours) from 9 am to 2 pm.\\nInitial induction will be 2 weeks in the office, followed by a flexible arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. \\n\\nAre you an experienced Medical Secretary looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their team in Farringdon for a temporary role.

This is an excellent chance to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment and support patient care!\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\nEnsure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of clinic letters, adhering to strict turnaround times (TaT).\\nRespond to patient queries regarding appointments and follow-up care, keeping them informed throughout their journey.\\nManage the preparation, typing, and distribution of medical reports and referral letters, maintaining high standards of accuracy.\\nMaintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.\\nCollaborate with clinicians to support their administrative tasks, providing reminders for outstanding reports and letters.\\nWork with the Patient Liaison Manager to monitor compliance with SLAs and identify potential delays proactively.\\nAssist with administrative projects alongside the wider clinical and administrative teams.\\nHandle all patient and clinician information with confidentiality, following legal guidelines. \\n\\nExperience/Skill Set:\\n\\nExperience as a medical secretary or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.\\nProven experience managing patient correspondence and working with clinicians effectively.\\nFamiliarity with medical terminology and clinic operations. \\n\\nSkills and Abilities:\\n\\nExcellent typing and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.\\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions.\\nProficiency in IT systems, including patient management systems and Microsoft Office.\\nAbility to manage and prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
