Are you hands-on, reliable, and looking for a role in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Adecco Romford & London East are recruiting for Pallet Repair & Maintenance Operatives to join a busy logistics operation, helping to ensure pallets are maintained to the highest quality and safety standards.
DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE CLIENT AND SHIFT TIMES, THIS IS BEST SUITED TO APPLICANTS WITH THEIR OWN TRANSPORT
What You'll Be Doing:
- Inspecting pallets and identifying damage or defects
- Repairing pallets using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment
- Replacing damaged timber components and carrying out quality checks
- Supporting daily production targets in a fast-moving environment
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area
- Assisting with pallet sorting, movement, loading, and unloading activities
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, maintenance, or labour-intensive environment
- Confidence using hand and power tools safely
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Desirable:
- Previous pallet repair or woodworking experience
- Experience within logistics or industrial environments
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
