Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for the Vetting Coordinator role within the Gloucestershire Constabulary. This temporary full‑time position is based in Quedgeley and offers an hourly rate of £14.14. The role requires an organised and detail‑oriented individual who can provide professional administrative assistance in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical assistance following policies and procedures aligned with the Vetting Code of Practice.
- Be the friendly face or voice for applicants and colleagues, ensuring all inquiries are handled promptly and courteously.
- Assess applications for completeness and accuracy, seeking clarifications as needed to ensure high standards.
- Input accurate information into vetting databases, maintain records, and prepare statistical reports.
- Review and manage records in compliance with relevant legislation, ensuring confidentiality and proper disposal when necessary.
- Organise meetings, take minutes, and provide general administrative support to the Vetting Team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Proven administrative experience with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in keyboard skills and familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse audience.
