About the Role
As a Repairs Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless repairs service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling & Coordination: Efficiently schedule and allocate repair works to trade operatives and external contractors, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Diary Management: Monitor and adjust daily diaries to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
- Customer Engagement: Liaise with tenants to arrange convenient repair appointments, providing timely information regarding their home maintenance.
- Fleet Management: Oversee fleet vehicle compliance, coordinating servicing and MOTs, while maintaining accurate mileage records.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage repair works and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Raise and manage works orders in the housing system.
- Process supplier invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
- Support the Repairs Support Manager with reporting and KPI measurement.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should possess
- Experience in office administration and database management; knowledge of the housing sector is a plus!
- Strong organisational and communication skills to effectively engage with both internal teams and external partners.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your own workload.
- NVQ level 3 or GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent); qualifications in database management or business administration are advantageous.
