Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for supporting teams and driving efficiency? Our high-profile Energy sector client is seeking a dedicated PA/Admin Assistant to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.
Key Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Head of Engagement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive meeting and calendar support to ensure efficient scheduling and time management.
- Taking initiative to organise meetings and manage the Head of Engagement’s diary, optimising travel and transport arrangements.
- prioritising and managing the Head of Engagement’s email inbox, responding to inquiries and taking appropriate actions as necessary.
- Delivering PMO administrative support to contribute effectively to the team’s objectives.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new team members by arranging IT equipment and delivering induction information.
- Supporting RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintaining Resource and Holiday Trackers to provide visibility of team availability to the Programme Manager and Project Managers.
- Collaborating with the IT team to resolve any technical issues that arise within the team.
- Offering support with financial processes as needed.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Strong administration and diary management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Some experience in junior PMO or project support, ideally within a PMO or project delivery environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, allowing you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
