Our client is seeking a motivated Part-Time Warehouse Operative to support the efficient running of their warehouse operations. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to contribute to a committed team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check deliveries with precision.
- Organise stock in designated locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare goods for despatch.
- Safely load and unload deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Assist with various warehouse tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team player with a reliable and punctual attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Basic reading and numeracy skills.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Forklift licence is a plus, though not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move goods safely.
- Comfortable standing and walking for most of the working day.
