Job Title: Operations Project Manager\\n\\nDuration: 6 months (Potential to be extended)\\n Working Pattern: Full Time, Mon – Fri\\n\\nLocation: London\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n We are seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager to lead the Operations Working Group within a transformative programme at our client's organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional to drive operational excellence through the design and implementation of a new target operating model.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nEstablish and manage the Operations Working Group, including drafting a Terms of Reference and developing a comprehensive plan with key deliverables and milestones.\\nCollaborate closely with Operations SMEs and Business Analysts to ensure alignment with project goals.\\nOversee the Design & Plan phase, focusing on developing a target operating model for the Operations department and business process flows for impacted areas.\\nLead the gathering of business requirements for affected operations in the next phase of the programme, ensuring clarity and precision in documentation.\\nPresent findings and updates to Working Groups and Steering Committees, highlighting implications, risks, and necessary actions for senior management. \\n\\nRequired Skills and Experience:\\n\\nProven experience in operations transformation and change programmes within investment banking, with a strong understanding of derivatives products.\\nExpertise in target operating model design, process mapping, and business requirements gathering.\\nFamiliarity with front to back processes in a typical investment banking trade lifecycle.\\nStrong workshop facilitation skills and experience in conducting sessions with senior stakeholders.\\nAbility to build strong relationships across departments, including Operations, IT, and other key business areas.\\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on delivering impactful presentations and reports.\\nA degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
