Salary: £33,000 - £34,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break)

What You'll Do:

As an Operations Clerk, you will be at the heart of our day-to-day logistics operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email with professionalism and promptness
  • Coordinating consolidation deliveries to vessels worldwide through:
    • Road Freight
    • Sea Freight (Exports)
    • Air Freight (Exports)
  • Managing and arranging import shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Preparing and processing customs paperwork in line with regulatory requirements
  • Recording daily arrivals into the company's bespoke system with precision
  • Liaising with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service

What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or operations (preferred)
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • A good understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Competence in using computer systems and bespoke software
