Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with a knack for problem-solving? Our client is seeking a dedicated Operations Business Analyst to join their OTC Clearing & FMU team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in providing advanced operational support for over-the-counter derivatives, ensuring efficient trading and operational activities across multiple lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with external Central Counterparty Clearing houses (CCPs) such as LCH, CME, ICE, and EUREX to fulfil obligations effectively.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash settlements, including non-receipts and undertaking cash reconciliations.
- Liaise with Trade Support teams across London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York to manage risk and resolve issues.
- Drive enhancements to system infrastructure and control environments by participating in projects and ad-hoc testing.
- Communicate critical updates and issues to senior management, continually striving to improve client service and operational efficiency.
- Generate and implement process improvement ideas to enhance efficiency and control.
