Location: Ford End, Chelmsford

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking organisation in the farming and rural property industry, is seeking an Operations Administrator to join their team in Chelmsford.

As an Operations Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Team in managing records, producing reports, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the organisation. This is a full-time position that requires a good understanding of Word and Excel packages. Previous experience using Landapp or other mapping software would be advantageous, although full in-house training will be provided for our farm management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile records
  • Produce detailed reports and analysis
  • Utilise Landapp to produce maps and maintain accurate ownership records
  • Prepare appraisals and presentations for investor meetings
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A background or understanding of agriculture
  • Experience using Landapp or similar mapping software
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A full driving licence and your own transport
