We're looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join a small team responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces to a consistently high standard. This would suit someone with strong grounds maintenance experience who is ready to take their first step into a supervisory position.
The Role
- Supervising at least one member of the team
- Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
- Weed control and spraying
- Shrub and flower bed maintenance
- Hedge cutting
- Leaf clearance
- Carrying out regular checks to ensure work meets the required standard
- Responding to requests and resolving issues efficiently
- Recording daily work and checks using an electronic mobile workforce system
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential
- Experience supervising others is desirable, although this could suit someone ready to progress into their first supervisory role
- Full, clean UK driving licence essential
- PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications required; PA2 would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Comfortable working across different sites
- Able to work outdoors throughout the year and in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, practical and confident working as part of a small team
