Are you passionate about the energy industry and looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client, a leader in the natural gas sector, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team as a Natural Gas Scheduler. As a Natural Gas Scheduler, you will play a vital role in the operations function in the UK and Europe, assisting with the marketing of trade equity supply, 3rd party pipeline supply, and LNG import.
Start ASAP, pay £ – £ per day- depending on experience, duration- one year contract with a possible extension, Monday-Friday full time hours, this is a hybrid working role and you will be required to work in the office Tuesday-Thursday, location Canary Wharf.
What will you be responsible for?
- Managing shipping accounts with the National Grid to ensure compliance with gas supply and demand regulations
- Balancing gas supplies and entry capacity to avoid penalties
- Reviewing daily GMSL handover and ensuring accurate input into Endur
- Executing commodity and capacity transactions across Europe to meet requirements
- Providing analysis reporting to support trading activities
- Communicating effectively with Upstream, System, and Pipeline operators
- Understanding regulatory regimes governing European gas balancing
- Reporting trades and deliveries to CVA and acting as a front office contact for cash call requests
What qualifications are required?
- Bachelor\’s degree (or equivalent) in a business-related field
- Knowledge of the European natural gas markets and experience in various disciplines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
