Our client, a thriving SME manufacturing industry, is on the lookout for a Temporary Supply Chain & Materials Scheduling Administrator to join their friendly team. If you have a knack for organisation and a passion for keeping things running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
In this pivotal role, you will support the Supply Chain and Production teams by ensuring materials are scheduled and available to meet production and customer demands. As we implement a new ERP system, your contributions will be vital in maintaining data accuracy and facilitating seamless coordination across departments.
Responsibilities- Assist with material planning and scheduling to meet production needs
- Update and maintain supply chain data within ERP/MRP systems
- Monitor material availability and proactively flag potential shortages or delays
- Raise purchase orders and track supplier deliveries as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, purchasing, warehouse) to ensure alignment
- Provide general administrative support to the supply chain function
- Previous experience in an administrative role (experience in supply chain or manufacturing is a plus, but not essential!)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy with data
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with internal systems (ERP/MRP experience is advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Ability to thrive under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Methodical and reliable work ethic
