We are recruiting a Moulding Assistant to join a well-established retail design and manufacturing business based in Cheshire. This is a hands-on production role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with moulding or machinery experience who enjoys practical work and wants long-term stability with opportunities to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate moulding machines safely and efficiently
- Run machinery to meet daily production targets
- Carry out quality checks on finished components
- Accurately record production data and timings
- Monitor and manage stock levels
- Support the Moulding Team Leader with day-to-day operations
- Assist other production departments when required
Machinery includes:
- Sandretto 485
- Sandretto 200
- Boy 80
- Boy 55
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a moulding or manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Experience setting up and running production machinery
- Ability to read and follow job sheets and care sheets
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good understanding of health and safety
