Contract Details:
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Contract Length: Jan 26 - approx 12 weeks
- Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM) Some flexibility during training
- Location: Bedford Medical records library, Bedford Hospital
Our client offers discounted parking for individuals living over 5 miles from the hospital and will provide two weeks of comprehensive training. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a highly regarded medical records warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move pallets: Safely transfer pallets from deliveries into the warehouse.
- Breakdown pallets: Efficiently dismantle pallets and relocate boxes within the warehouse to maintain organisation.
- Retrieve and palletise: Gather boxes from the warehouse and prepare them for collection by palletising them.
- Support the Check-In team: Assist with various project-based tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.
- Follow health and safety: Adhere to all instructions and health and safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Manual handling experience: Proven experience in manual handling is essential for this role.
- Willingness to learn: Be ready to undertake training on manual handling equipment such as pump trucks, sack barrows, and trolleys.
- Attention to detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately is crucial to our operations.
Physical Requirements:
This role is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness. Safety boots will be provided upon request to ensure your safety while working.
