They are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their busy manufacturing team – Responsibilities: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, maintaining, and repairing electrical components of production machinery. Your proactive approach will minimise downtime and maximise efficient working time. Key responsibilities include: Performing general maintenance duties, proactively and reactively, to ensure minimum downtime Communicating details of unscheduled downtime to the Maintenance Lead and offering solutions Participating in trouble shooting and problem resolutions Contributing to continuous process improvements Updating KPI board promptly to assist your team Maintaining regular communication with other team members and leaders Carrying out routine maintenance schedules according to the maintenance plan Checking computer SFOL regularly to ensure all machines are running Prioritising production stoppages over daily duties Conducting installation work when necessary Following a ‘clean as you go’ work ethic Ensuring workshop and toolboxes are maintained to the highest standards Identifying and communicating improvements to production lines and machinery operations Completing relevant administration for all work undertaken Keeping knowledge up to date for all areas of the roleEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Time served fitter/engineer or City & Guilds certificate (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Significant experience in fault finding, repair, and maintenance of machinery and production systems Excellent communication skills and ability to work positively in a team environment Detailed health and safety knowledge Proficient in diagnosing faults quickly and accurately Thorough understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics Competent in using MIG, TIG, and electric arc welding equipmentDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Experience in manufacturing and production industry Knowledge of ISO and ethical audits Experience in leading safety initiatives and improving safety standardsTechnologies: Proficiency in electrical maintenance technology and equipment Knowledge of relevant software and toolsHow to Apply: If you are a motivated and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer seeking a new opportunity, please apply with your updated CV and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications.
