Role Overview As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment, machinery, and systems operate efficiently and reliably. Key Responsibilities: Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults swiftly to minimise downtime and keep operations running seamlessly. Prompt Response: Act quickly to breakdowns and implement effective solutions to avoid disruptions. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and external contractors to maintain operational efficiency and safety. Machining Operations: Operate Milling machines as required for various maintenance tasks. Welding Tasks: Carry out welding duties as part of your maintenance and repair work. General Maintenance: Undertake a variety of general maintenance duties across the facility to support a safe and efficient working environment.Requirements: Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is essential.
