Join a business where material accuracy and operational efficiency drive success. We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Materials Controller to join our team in Gloucester. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, balancing warehouse operations with inventory administration and cross-functional collaboration.
As a key member of the supply chain function, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, availability and movement of materials across both on-site and off-site storage locations. Working closely with Warehouse, Purchasing, Planning and Customer Service teams, you will play a vital role in maintaining stock integrity and supporting the smooth flow of materials throughout the business.
This is a varied position, with approximately 70% of your time spent within the warehouse environment carrying out stock investigations, material checks and inventory control activities, and 30% office-based managing stock systems, reporting and administration.

As a Materials Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring material movements and ensuring stock levels support operational requirements. You will investigate discrepancies, identify opportunities for process improvement and help maintain high standards.
