This is an exciting opportunity for someone enthusiastic about connected car technology and eager to shape the future of vehicle features and customer experiences Start Date: ASAP End Date: 31/01/2027 Pay rate: PAYE: £28.41 LTD: £35.00 Location: Crewe – Pyms Lane CW1 3PL Working Pattern: Full Time Possible International travel to Germany What You will Do: As a Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer, you will play a crucial role in: Analysing Final Assembly Feasibility:Review styles and designs to identify and resolve manufacturing feasibility concerns. Conduct virtual and physical studies on part designs to provide actionable recommendations. Develop assembly strategies based on dimensional management outputs to achieve product quality targets. Supporting Business Processes:Clearly define and document concerns or issues through established processes. Act as a key participant in Virtual Build reviews and Design Feasibility assessments. Control Build Activities:Validate assembly feasibility and analyse Controlled Build Vehicles. Serve as a knowledge holder for part design, manufacture, and assembly within your designated vehicle zone/module. Best Practice Development:Benchmark design, manufacturing, and assembly methods to identify industry best practices. Contribute to the introduction of modern technologies and techniques that drive deliverables forward. What We are Looking For: The ideal candidate will have: Automotive Industry Experience: Background in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment (experience in related industries also considered). Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of component design, manufacturing, and assembly processes. Familiarity with design for assembly principles and lean manufacturing techniques. Proficiency in CATIA V5 and Virtual Build tools, as well as measurement techniques. Problem-Solving Skills: A logical, structured approach to identifying and resolving issues effectively. Qualifications: HNC / Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is desirable Proficiency in German is a plus, as is membership in a relevant professional institute. Why Join Us?
