Our educational client is seeking a confident, professional, and approachable School Receptionist. This is a key role within the school, providing a warm welcome to students, parents, staff, and visitors while ensuring the reception area runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and transferring them to the appropriate staff member
- Taking accurate messages and emailing them promptly to the correct contact
- Meeting and greeting parents, students, visitors, and external professionals
- Supporting with general reception duties and maintaining a calm, friendly environment
- Handling parent and student queries politely and efficiently
- Managing visitor sign-ins in line with safeguarding procedures
Qualifications
- All applicants MUST have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Previous experience within a school or busy reception environment is highly desirable
- Experience using Bromcom or Arbor is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Confident using email and basic IT systems
- Friendly, professional
