Job Description Recruitment Officer Human Resources Manchester Circa Β£30,000 per annum (depending on experience) 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract 35 Hours per Week This role outlines an exciting opportunity within the Human Resources team at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute. As Recruitment Officer, you will provide a professional, efficient and candidate-focused recruitment service, supporting the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy advertising through to onboarding and induction The Role As a Recruitment Officer, you will: Coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns Support candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process Arrange and coordinate interviews, both in person and virtually Complete offer administration and pre-employment checks, including right to work verification Deliver onboarding and induction activities for new starters Maintain accurate HR and recruitment records in line with GDPR requirements Produce recruitment statistics and reports Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR service About You We're looking for someone who has: Experience working within a recruitment or HR environment Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of recruitment best practice, right to work requirements and UK employment legislation Experience using HR systems, databases and Microsoft Office applicationsDesirable experience includes: Working within higher education, research or not-for-profit sectors Social media recruitment activity International recruitment Attending interview panels as an HR representative Producing recruitment metrics and reports Why Join Us?
