Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional who can quickly integrate into an established function and deliver accurate, end-to-end payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of payroll across UK (and ideally Ireland)
- Ensuring all payroll activities are completed accurately and on time
- Performing payroll reconciliations and validation checks independently
- Managing payroll-related queries and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external providers where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (Ireland knowledge desirable)
- Ability to carry out payroll checking autonomously with a high degree of accuracy
- Experience working with or alongside a Managed Service Provider (desirable, not essential)
- Quick to learn new payroll systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
